		<description>I write this comment from the beautiful country of Nigeria. A year ago, my uncle died and left me an inheritance of $1,000,000, if you can help me get this money out of my country, for your services, I will pay you 20% of this amount... Just kidding, couldn&#039;t resist :-).

  I hear you, Lodewijk, spam seems to creep into everything on the web. First mail, then blogging and of course, now twitter :-(. Probably the best thing you can do is get a good spam filter and not mind if the odd one slips through!

		<description>Good on you! I&#039;d had to deal with this before, and although I do feel a bit badly about it, I feel that some comments just aren&#039;t worth sharing (hopefully this one is, haha). A comment policy is great, to make sure that comments stay relevant. Furthermore, a policy for many other things -- like reviews -- can be useful to show interested companies what to expect.
