This blog originated from my previous blog “How to be an Original”, which I started in april 2007. The difference in the title may be subtle – since only the “How to” disappeared – yet it’s a vital difference for me.

Blogging has turned out to be a huge learning experience for me, on various levels. And as an avid learner, that part has always been a motivator. Over time however I grew out of my previous blog for two reasons. First and foremost, I grew out of the “How to” title. And second, I grew to dislike the remnants of blogging lessons I learned that left scars on the previous blog.

On this blog I’m not going to tell you how to be an original. I’ll share the lessons I’ve learned in my own quest. Some of them are universal, but most of them will be personal. What worked for me, might not work for you and vice versa. This blog is to inspire you to think about being an original, and finding your own way in that discovery process. I’m not telling you exactly how to do that. Only you can walk down your own path.
