On Sundays I’m looking back on the past week. How did my habit change go? How did my blog do? And how am I keeping up with my GTD system?
Progress on habit change
Starting September I will be giving a report on the progress here, for August you can find the latest report here: Looking back on the fourth week of the Early Bird Challenge.
Blog performance
Again I did not manage to get an article posted everyday. The intention is still there, however time is not always available in the quantity or quality I need for writing.
| Statistics week 34 | ||
|---|---|---|
| Average RSS subscribers: | 239 | + 10 |
| Average daily visitors: | 237 | + 46 |
| Technorati Authority: | 49 | + 2 |
10 more new average subscribers this week. Welcome! There was also an increase in visitors to the site, mainly caused by StumbleUpon visitors to my article on success.
I put up a contact page this week, and the RSS readers will have noticed that I messed up there. I initially published it as a post instead of a page and although I deleted it within two minutes it showed up in a lot of readers. The page does need more work, and I’m going to add my social media identities too (Digg, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn and so on).
This week I want to put up a policies page as well with policies on commenting, monetizing and guest writing.
Getting Things Done – weekly review
No progress on getting back in the GTD flow. Most of my energy is devoted to work, family, blogging and garden work. But I’ll keep on mentioning it here, that creates a “social commitment” to get back in the groove
